Pet Urine & Odor Removal

Eliminate Odors With Our Great Solutions!

Joan B.

Dr. Clean went above and beyond the call to clean and reseal my Travertine tile floors in the midst of my husband's terrible illness. The staff were efficient as well as considerate of noise and inconveniencing a very sick man. They planned the work to move and disturb him as little as possible. They moved everything but the heaviest/biggest pieces of furniture. And, they were tolerant of and kind to my needy pet dogs. Having strangers in the house, moving furniture, and using loud machines and blowers can be very upsetting to pets. My entire house is tiled so there was no spare room for pets or sick man to stay out of the way. Dr. Clean was efficient, pleasant and competent

Your crew absolutely knocked themselves out, moving heavy furniture, and being considerate of my husband's illness. (Naturally, it was the coldest days of winter and Alan was terribly sick.) The other funny thing is my Chihuahua is very needy and discovered if she walked across the wet floors someone would attend to her. Every time I looked for her one of your guys was escorting her OUT. She was LOVING it!!

The Mann Family

Highly recommend Dr. Clean for fast, reasonable, great service. We had a major odor issue when moving into a recently purchased home. Bruce was out the next day to assess and then had someone out very quickly to address the issues. Our sincere thanks!

Dr. Clean again was amazing! We had a big task as a result of our dearly adopted canine son leaving his mark in a few places. Their black light identified some key areas and now my cream colored carpet looks and smells amazing!

I am pleased with the work of Dr.Clean. I have referred them to my neighbors as well. I have had bad experiences in the past using carpet cleaning services with a coupon. Typically they send a very young tech to do all the work. This resulted in my carpet being damaged and took 2 visits from a manager to resolve. I have 3 sons and a dog, my carpets and tile looked like new when they were done. I am very grateful to have found them!

“Where can I get lasting Pet Urine and Odor Removal Services?”

Did you leave something on the stove and can’t quite get rid of the smell?

Did you hire a carpet cleaner that couldn’t quite get rid of that unpleasant urine smell?

Did the smoke from your guests leave you wondering why were they invited?

Do you have rentals that seems to have a stale odor?

Dr. Clean treats odors on a molecular level from source containment to aerial dispersement. I hear all the time… I put that plugin thing in and it’s worse.

Odor treatment is something that is required on a molecular level not with masking agents. Our patented technology allows anyone to still be inside the space being treated – Safe, Simple & Natural.

This dispersal systems uses essential oils found in nature from trees, plants and flowers. The proprietary blend of ingredients neutralize all organic odors.

Treat atmosphere, contents, and structure simultaneously! The membranes permit the oils to breathe through the surface of the envelope, allowing a safe dry vapor to be diffused in the air.

Here are a few of the many odors we can eliminate through our procedures

  • Mold/Mildew Urine Sewage Sour/Spoiled Dairy Skunk

  • Mustiness Hydroponic/Grow Smoke/Fire Flood

  • Pet Garbage/Dumpster Dead/Decomposition Cook Odors

Most people love having a pet but one of the most common concerns of our customers is pet odors in their home. While many people may think that all it takes is a little cleaning on their part, that does not always work well for a variety of reasons – especially when it comes to pet urine.

In fact, some customers are under the impression that hiring a professional to clean their floors of pet odors isn’t needed but here is why doing it yourself can actually make the problem worse. Here are some reasons you need a professional for pet urine cleaning and care in Tucson and how we work to combat the problem at its source.

Finding the Source

Some customers are under the impression that cleaning the surface of their flooring will eliminate the odors. The problem is, especially with carpet, the odor may have penetrated the surface and is now buried deeper into the flooring so that it is harder to get to and surface cleaning does not work.

Reactivation of Enzymes

Pet urine has enzymes in it that may become less noticeable over time but still has an odor to it. When a customer tries to clean urine smells out of their carpet without professional help, it often reactivates those enzymes and makes the odor stronger than it was in the first place. Instead of getting a fresh, clean scent from all of that hard work you did, you have now exasperated the problem.

Ignoring Hard Surfaces

Tile is often an excellent solution for easy clean up but it is not impervious to pet odors. This is because while tile is a hard surface, if the tiles were not sealed or the sealant has worn off over time then you have a porous surface that soaks up odors. The area where the grout is located is another porous area that tends to soak up pet urine and cause a bad smell.

Hardwood Floor Care

The problem with cleaning hardwood floors at home is that they need extra gentle care. This type of flooring is extra susceptible to harsh detergent or water damage and if your pet has already been using it as a place to go to the bathroom, you do not want to cause any additional damage. Hiring a professional means that you get someone who knows how to handle this type of surface and won’t damage your hardwood floors.

What We Do

At Dr. Clean Home Care, we have a treatment system that works well to remove pet odors efficiently and permanently.

The first thing we do is locate the source of the odor and find out how much the moisture has penetrated the flooring and how far it has gone. Once we have that information we customize a plan of action that begins with treating and cleaning the entire surface that is affected. Areas that have a higher concentration of smell is treated more extensively with spot treatment and deeper treatment.

High Tech Treatment

We utilize black lights in order to find the source of the contaminant which cannot be seen with the naked eye. High tech air scrubbers are used to combat the odors on a molecular level as well as filter the air. Last but not least, we use a product called Unleashed. This product uses odor encapsulates and enzymes to fight the components in odors like urine, feces, and other typical pet odors. This product works twofold – it fights the smells associated with pets and works on stains to remove them. Not only does it work on carpeted areas but it also works on hard, porous surfaces.

Why work hard to clean your flooring when you can have a professional ensure that the smell is gone at its deepest level? We’ll take care of everything for you so you can have a clean, fresh smelling floor.
